What is the main difference between LYCOtec White Hot and LYCON’s Traditional Hot Waxes (such as the Azulene or Sobbery)?
LYCOtec White Hot is made from a synthetic resin as opposed to a pine resin (traditional hot waxes). The synthetic resin adds pliability and makes this an excellent choice for hard to wax areas! It is also Vegan.
How do I prepare my clients skin for waxing with LYCOtec Hot Wax?
Prior to all Hot (Hard) waxing, LYCON recommends using the LYCOTane Cleanser to cleanse the skin of any debris or lotions prior to opening the pores. Additionally, LYCON’s Pre-Waxing should be used with all Hot waxes to add an extra barrier of moisture and protection to the skin.
What should I do after waxing my clients skin?
LYCON recommends using the LYCOTane Cleanser immediately after waxing to close the hair follicles. Then applying one of LYCON’s post care lotions such as Tea Tree Soothe to further add moisture to the skin.
What should I recommend to my clients for at-home care?
It is important that clients are exfoliating their skin in between waxing services. Additionally, they may want to apply a targetted treatement such as LYCON’s Ingrown-X-It Solution if they are prone to ingrown hairs.
