When do you use LYCON’s Strip Wax versus Hot Wax? Is Active Gold Strip ok to use on the face or other sensitive areas?
LYCON recommends using Strip Wax for all larger area waxing such as legs, arms and back. Strip wax can be applied super thinly making it economical. Hot Wax is excellent for sensitive areas such as bikini, Brazilian and facial waxing. However, if you are a wax Professional and prefer Strip Wax for all areas, all of LYCON’s Strip waxes can be used on sensitive areas and are easy to work with.
How do I prepare my clients skin for waxing with Active Gold Strip Wax?
Prior to all Strip waxing, LYCON recommends using the LYCOTane Cleanser to cleanse the skin of any debris or lotions as waxing opens the pores. Although it is not necessary to use LYCON’s Pre-Waxing oil with Strip wax, if a client is extra dry, applying a small amount of oil will add moisture to the skin.
What should I do after using the Active Gold Strip wax on my clients skin?
LYCON recommends using the LYCOTane Cleanser immediately after waxing to close the hair follicles. Then applying one of LYCON’s post care lotions such as Tea Tree Soothe to further add moisture to the skin.
What should I recommend to my clients for at-home care?
It is important that clients are exfoliating their skin in between waxing services. Additionally, they may want to apply a targeted treatment such as LYCON’s Ingrown-X-It Solution if they are prone to ingrown hairs.
